My phone is haunted...

... or it hates me. Or, most likely, Android just sucks.

It all started on Friday, when my phone tells me that it needs to upgrade the OS and the Verizon software in it, and it will do it whether I like it or not. I saw no harm on it. Oh, how innocent I was...

The issues started on Saturday evening (that I know of). I sent a text to a friend, I was on my way to meet him, and somehow it went to my ex. Great. Oooops (Although, I can imagine the face of horror he must have had when he received that text. Ha!). I promptly apologized and since, luckily, we are friends too, he laughed at the whole thing.

Then it came Sunday. My phone sent 6, yes, *SIX* texts to the WRONG recipient (and, FYI, that was over 50% of my texting action that day). WTF? At least, they were all good friends, and they all laughed at me because of it (and it was good to catch up), but seriously, WTF? I wonder if this is an Android tactic to stop sexting, hmmmm.... I am glad none of these texts were, mmmm, "compromising".

I called Verizon, they told me to removed the battery and put it back in, and that seemed to solve the issue. Until last night, that is.

Last night was another story. The bf (from now and henceforth, The Vegan) was coming over and I sent a text to let him know I had arrived from my ride and was getting in the shower (maybe not with those words). The text went to another friend, who, very diplomatically, replied indicating he didn't think that text was for him. Fuck.

Then this morning, it's my friend D's birthday, and I sent a text to our common friend C to remind him of the event (I am convinced that men are just not good at remembering birthdays) and to ask him whether he'll be attending tonight's bike ride. And guess who received the text? Of all possible people, yes, it went to the birthday girl! Funny thing is that she was seated right next to C when the text was received. Hilarity ensued.

Battery has been removed again. But this thing feels like Russian Roulette, and it is going to get me in serious trouble one of these days.
